The Rhode Island House of Representatives has passed a resolution congratulating Dr. Christopher A. Campagnari, MD, on his retirement after 32 years of dedicated service as a Family Medicine Physician. Dr. Campagnari, who received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and completed his residency in Pennsylvania, has been a vital part of the Wood River Health community since 1994. He has provided exemplary primary care and served as the Medical Director, where he played a key role in implementing electronic health records and achieving recognition as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Campagnari has held various leadership positions, including Assistant Clinical Professor at Brown University and Chief of Pediatrics at Westerly Hospital. His contributions to healthcare have earned him national and local recognition, particularly for his involvement in addressing health disparities. The resolution expresses gratitude for his compassionate care and wishes him a fulfilling retirement and success in his future endeavors.
