The bill amends Section 44-3-3 of the General Laws in Chapter 44-3, which addresses property subject to taxation, by adding new language that specifies various categories of property exempt from taxation. This includes the real and tangible personal property of Community MusicWorks, a Rhode Island domestic nonprofit corporation, located at 1326 Westminster Street in the city of Providence, on Tax Assessors Map, Plat 32, Lot 232.

The act is set to take effect upon passage and will apply retroactively beginning on January 1, 2026.
