The Rhode Island House of Representatives has passed a resolution expressing condolences on the passing of Josephine B. Finnegan, who was a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted wife to the late Terrence Finnegan II. Mrs. Finnegan, originally from Maine and later a resident of Providence, was known for her warm personality, culinary skills, and dedication to her family. She lived a vibrant life until the age of 104, maintaining a strong work ethic and a love for live music, particularly at the Ocean Mist, where she enjoyed socializing and sharing stories.

The resolution acknowledges Mrs. Finnegan's many talents, including her artistry, gardening, and sewing, as well as her remarkable spirit and sense of humor. The House extends its sympathy to her family, including her children Rosemary and Kevin Finnegan, and authorizes the Secretary of State to send certified copies of the resolution to her family members.
