The resolution honors Warwick Police Chief Colonel Bradford Connor in recognition of his distinguished career in law enforcement, which began in 1996 with the Warwick Police Department. Throughout his tenure, Chief Connor demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to community service, particularly in the Community Services Division. He held various positions, including Deputy Police Chief, and played a significant role in the department's Special Weapons and Tactics Team. After retiring in 2019, he served as the Director of Security at Women & Infants Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic before returning to the Warwick Police Department as Police Chief in 2021.

As Chief, Connor has continued to earn respect and admiration for his dedication to public service and the community of Warwick. The resolution expresses gratitude for his over 27 years of service and acknowledges his educational background, including a degree in Criminal Justice from St. Anselm College, as well as his involvement with the Rhode Island Police Chiefs Association and the Boys and Girls Club of Warwick. The Senate of the State of Rhode Island congratulates him on his upcoming retirement on June 29, 2025, and directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to him.
