This act would validate and ratify the amendments to the Home Rule Charter of the city of Woonsocket, which were approved by the electors of the city on November 5, 2024. The act is intended to ensure that these amendments are recognized and enacted. It does not diminish the powers granted to towns or cities under the home rule amendment or the rights retained by Woonsocket in its Home Rule Charter.
