Notably, the bill increases the maximum compensation for court reporters from three dollars ($3.00) to three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) per page for original transcripts, and from one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) to two dollars ($2.00) per page for copies.

The bill also includes provisions for the reproduction and certification of electronic recordings by designated personnel. The act will take effect upon passage.
