The bill amends Section 31-27.1-3 of the General Laws regarding "Aggressive Driving" by adding five specific driving violations to the existing definition of aggressive driving. The new violations included in the definition are: (10) obedience to police officers, 31-12-3; (11) overtaking on left, 31-15-4; (12) clearance for overtaking, 31-15-6; (13) places where overtaking is prohibited, 31-15-7; and (14) laned roadways, 31-15-11. The act will take effect immediately upon passage.
