The bill amends Chapter 36-8 of the General Laws by adding a new section titled "Board meetings -- Online distribution." This new section requires the retirement board to provide online access to all archived video or audio recordings of its meetings, as well as all future recordings of meetings occurring on or after the enactment of this section. These recordings will be displayed on the employees' retirement system website. Furthermore, the provisions of this section apply to any subsidiary board of the retirement board that specializes in state investments. The act is set to take effect on January 1, 2026.
