The bill amends Chapter 46-15 of the General Laws regarding "Water Resources Management" by adding a new section, 46-15-24, which specifically addresses the obligations of the public water system in Jamestown. It allows the commissioners of the water and sewer commission for the town of Jamestown to limit their obligation to supply water only to applicants who reside within a designated and described service area, rather than the entire land area of the town. This act will take effect upon passage.
