The resolution expresses profound sadness over the passing of Anthony Eugene Piccirilli, a dedicated public servant and beloved family man. Mr. Piccirilli, known affectionately as "Peachie," was a long-time resident of Narragansett and served as a Deputy Clerk with the Rhode Island State Superior Court for 35 years. He was actively involved in various organizations that celebrated his Italian-American heritage and contributed significantly to his community, particularly through youth sports as a football coach and president of the Washington County Raiders.

The resolution highlights Mr. Piccirilli's commitment to his family, including his wife Linda, their children, and granddaughter, as well as his passion for sports and community service. In recognition of his contributions and legacy, the House of Representatives extends its deepest condolences to his family and directs the Secretary of State to provide a certified copy of the resolution to them.
