The Rhode Island House of Representatives has passed a resolution expressing condolences on the passing of Anthony M. Zainyeh, a respected member of the community and dedicated public servant. Mr. Zainyeh was born in Pawtucket, the son of George and Kanom Zainyeh, and the late husband of Corinne Zainyeh. He was a proud father to former Rhode Island House member George Zainyeh and his daughter Diane. Mr. Zainyeh had a notable career with the Rhode Island Department of Taxation, where he served for 42 years, culminating as a senior revenue officer in the Enforcement Unit, and was recognized for his leadership and integrity.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Zainyeh was known for his love of history, sports, and western films, and he enjoyed spending time at the Warwick Mall. He is survived by his children and grandchildren, while being predeceased by several family members. The resolution concludes with the House of Representatives extending their heartfelt condolences to the Zainyeh family and directing the Secretary of State to send certified copies of the resolution to them.
