The resolution honors and thanks Representative Patricia L. Morgan for her twelve years of dedicated service to the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing District 26, which includes Coventry, Warwick, and West Warwick. Patricia Morgan, who has a background in education with degrees from Kent State University, Rhode Island College, and Providence College, served as the House Minority Leader since 2016 and has been a member of several House Committees. During her tenure, she has sponsored various pieces of legislation aimed at supporting home buyers and veterans, manufacturing corporations, and entities relocating parts of the U.S. supply chain to Rhode Island, among others.

In addition to her legislative work, Morgan is a financial advisor and mother of three sons. She has been actively involved in her community, serving on the West Warwick Zoning Board, the Comprehensive Plan Committee, and founding the Riverwalk/Royal Mills Restoration Project. The resolution acknowledges her wisdom, financial expertise, and strong work ethic, which have contributed to the betterment of Rhode Island. The House of Representatives expresses its best wishes for her future endeavors and directs the Secretary of State to provide Representative Morgan with a certified copy of the resolution as a token of appreciation for her service.
