The House has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Tammy M. Lamberto Roy, who was the beloved wife of Noel Roy, Jr., and a cherished mother and grandmother. Tammy Roy was a resident of Woonsocket, daughter of Paulette and Raymond Lamberto, and a sibling to David, Tina, and Sheila. She was an alumna of Woonsocket High School and Rhode Island College, where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in education. Tammy Roy dedicated 21 years to teaching special education and also worked as a PASS worker for the Seven Hills Foundation until her retirement in 2017.

Despite battling cancer intermittently over two decades, Tammy Roy lived a full life, deeply invested in her family, including her grandchildren. She was known for her passion, energy, and loving nature, creating a warm and welcoming home. Her hobbies included scrapbooking, beach outings, camping, traveling, and enjoying music and dance. The resolution acknowledges that Tammy Roy's presence had a significant and lasting impact on those around her and that she will be greatly missed. The House of Representatives of Rhode Island extends its deepest condolences to her family and directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Noel Roy, Jr. and his family.
