Patricia Ann Mehrtens, born on June 21, 1934, is being honored by the House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island on the occasion of her 90th birthday. A lifelong resident of Burrillville, she has made significant contributions to her community through various roles, including serving on the Burrillville Town Council, working in different capacities, and being an active member of several historical and preservation societies. Mrs. Mehrtens is also an accomplished author, having published several books on the history of Burrillville, and is recognized as the official Town Historian.
