The Senate expresses profound sorrow at the passing of Thomas Conroy Boyle, President of the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Homes. Born and raised in Providence, Thomas Boyle was a dedicated family man, married to Helen Boyle for 46 years, and a father and grandfather. He was a respected graduate of LaSalle Academy and Providence College, later attending the New England Institute of Anatomy and Mortuary Sciences. Boyle had a career spanning over fifty years as a funeral director, providing compassionate services to families in mourning. He was also a committed public servant, serving on the Providence City Council and the Board of Licenses, and was known for his deep faith, love for family, and enjoyment of leisure activities such as golf and following the Providence College Friars basketball team.

Thomas Boyle is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, sister, in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews. In his memory, the Senate of the State of Rhode Island extends its condolences to the Boyle family and directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to Mrs. Helen Boyle and Family as a symbol of sympathy and recognition of Thomas Boyle's service and contributions to the community.
