The snapshot reports must be filed with various legislative leaders and committees, as well as the governor's office, within 30 days of the bill's passage and on the first day of each month thereafter. The reports will contain detailed information on traffic, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, emergency vehicle issues, and the direct effects on local traffic and residents' health due to increased congestion. Additionally, the bill requires the department to promptly inform key government officials of any unexpected changes in the bridge's repair or replacement progress, rather than waiting for the next report. All snapshot reports will be made public on the department's website. The act will take effect immediately upon passage.
