Regina "Gina" Moura, a native of Providence and daughter of Avis Castro and the late Honorable George Castro, has retired after a commendable 37-year career with the Rhode Island General Assembly. Gina, a Hope High School and Community College of Rhode Island alumna, began her career as a page in 1985 and has since held various roles, including proofer, internship department staff, and clerical worker. For the past thirteen years, she has been a vital part of the Rhode Island House Constituent Services Office as a Constituent Liaison, where she has been dedicated to addressing the concerns of constituents with diligence and care.

The House of Representatives of the State of Rhode Island has passed a resolution to congratulate Gina Moura on her retirement, recognizing her for her devoted and distinguished service to the people of Rhode Island. The resolution acknowledges her infectious laugh, caring nature, and her role as a devoted wife to the Honorable Paul Moura and mother to twins, Paul Moura, Jr., and Nina Moura. It extends wishes for good health, happiness, and success in her future endeavors. Additionally, the Secretary of State is directed to provide Gina Moura with a certified copy of this resolution.
