The Senate of the State of Rhode Island has expressed profound sorrow upon learning of the death of Karrie Ann DiSanto from Barrington, who was born in Providence to the late Nancy and Joseph Agostinelli. Ms. DiSanto was recognized as a dedicated mother and a fervent advocate for various causes, notably her significant contributions to the Rhode Island Coalition Against Gun Violence, including her organization of the successful "March for our Lives" rally at the Rhode Island Statehouse in June 2022.

Karrie Ann DiSanto is survived by her daughters, Lydia and Charlotte DiSanto, their father Thomas DiSanto, her siblings Joseph, Steven, Mark Agostinelli, and Mary O’Brien, as well as numerous relatives and friends. The Senate has resolved to extend its deepest condolences to the DiSanto family and has directed the Secretary of State to send certified copies of this resolution to Lydia and Charlotte DiSanto as a gesture of sympathy and recognition of Ms. DiSanto's contributions and memory.
