AN ACT
RELATING TO SOLEMNIZATION OF MARRIAGES

It is enacted by the General Assembly as follows:
1 SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other general or special law to the contrary, the
2 Honorable Maryellen Goodwin may join Katiuska Pérez and Brian Parker in marriage within the
3 City of Newport, Rhode Island, on or about September 3, 2021. The Honorable Maryellen Goodwin
4 is hereby authorized and empowered to join the foregoing persons in marriage pursuant to and in
5 accordance with Chapter 3 of Title 15 of the General Laws, entitled "Solemnization of Marriages."
6 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon passage.
