I intend to introduce a resolution recognizing October 20, 2026 as Pennsylvania Career Awareness Day.

In today’s economy, it is important for high school students to be informed about the career choices available to them and to know how to pursue these opportunities even prior to their graduation.

In my district, I have seen organizations like the Partnership for Career Development serve a vital role in educating our students. Students that graduate high school with meaningful career planning and development experience are more likely to be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes employers seek. They are more prepared for high paying, in‑demand jobs and ready to contribute to the strong, world class workforce that makes Pennsylvania great.

Please join me in recognizing Pennsylvania Career Awareness Day to promote career planning education and development.
