In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution to designate November 17, 2026, as “Veterans Day of Caring” in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania is home to over 700,000 veterans, including veterans who have served in times of war and peace, across all branches of the Armed Forces. During their service, veterans put their lives on the line in service to our country to preserve the freedoms we all cherish.

While November 11 is annually recognized as Veterans Day, it is important to encourage Pennsylvanians to support our veterans year-round through meaningful acts of kindness, community involvement, and sustained engagement.

Veterans Day of Caring provides that opportunity, serving as a reminder to Pennsylvanians that giving back to and supporting our veterans can happen on any date.

I hope you will join me in co-sponsoring this resolution.
