Across Pennsylvania, members of the National Guard serve their communities and country at home and abroad. Pennsylvania is home to approximately 16,000 National Guard members and has the third-largest National Guard in the nation.

We plan to introduce a resolution recognizing December 13, 2026, as the “National Guard Birthday” in Pennsylvania.

Reflecting its motto "Always Ready, Always There," the National Guard plays an important role in national defense, emergency response, and support for communities across the Commonwealth.

Please join us in co-sponsoring this resolution recognizing December 13, 2026, as the “National Guard Birthday” in Pennsylvania. This measure will honor 390 years of National Guard service and recognize the dedication of Guard members across the Commonwealth.
