Very shortly we plan to introduce legislation to expand the incredibly important work the legislature has accomplished this year for cost of living increases for municipal police and fire, to include paramedics-emt.

Paramedics engage daily in critical work responding to many of the same incidents that our municipal police and firefighters respond to. Their efforts to provide lifesaving care, often at danger to themselves, cannot be more heroic.

For those reasons, we believe it is critical to expand the COLA passed this year for municipal police and fire to include our paramedics as well.
