In the near future, I intend to introduce legislation designating a bridge in Cambria County as the Army Specialist Four Anthony Michael Notich Memorial Bridge.

Anthony Michael Notich was born on Oct. 28, 1948, in Lloydell, Pennsylvania. Anthony was a Class of 1967 graduate from Forest Hills High School. Anthony worked at U.S. Steel in Moxham prior to being drafted. Outside of work, Anthony enjoyed hunting, fishing and softball. Army Specialist Four (Spec. 4) Anthony Michael Notich began his tour in Vietnam on April 7, 1969. He served as a light weapons infantryman with A Company, 3rd Battalion, 47th Infantry, 9th Infantry Division. Spec. 4 Anthony Michael Notich was killed-in-action on June 16, 1969, at the age of 20 in Kien Hoa Province, South Vietnam, as the result of injuries sustained from hostile action involving an explosive device. Spec. 4 Anthony Michael Notich is honored on Panel 22W, Line 59 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C.

Please consider joining me in cosponsoring this important legislation, honoring the exemplary service and sacrifice of Army Specialist Four Anthony Michael Notich.
