On Friday, May 29, 2026, Central Berks Regional Police Department Officer Kristen Yeager tragically lost her life in an automobile accident that occurred while she was responding to an emergency call for assistance from a neighboring agency. As an exemplary public servant, the loss of Officer Yeager will be felt deeply.
Officer Yeager was only 42 years old, and she leaves behind a husband and three children. Her resolve is, without a doubt, an inspiration to everyone in Berks County and beyond. Officer Yeager devoted her life to serving her community, and in honor of her dedication and service I intend to introduce a condolence resolution in her memory.
It is my sincere hope that Officer Yeager’s life and service will serve as an inspiration to all Pennsylvanians. Please join me in honoring her life by co-sponsoring this important resolution.
