Pennsylvania faces an ongoing teacher shortage crisis. While progress has been made, many educators still leave early, struggling with workloads, lack of collaboration, and burnout. 
 
Strategic staffing models move beyond a one-teacher, one-classroom model, offering flexible, team-based structures and career pathways, with improved teacher satisfaction and student outcomes.
 
Soon, I will introduce legislation establishing an opt-in grant program which supports the costs of the new model transition. This program will promote advanced teaching roles for increased instructional leadership and professional growth.
