The safety of our children is so important, and when caring for a baby there can be so much information for a parent to process about how best to keep their child safe. From child-proofing a home to best sleeping practices to safe toys, there are many aspects of a child’s life for parents to consider. As parents strive to make a child’s safety their highest priority, we can support them by bringing attention to best practices for baby safety.

Baby Safety Month is recognized annually in September, and we will be introducing a resolution so that our Commonwealth can join this effort. Through recognizing September 2026 as Baby Safety Month, we will help families across Pennsylvania protect their children from hazards.

Please join us in helping to bring attention to baby safety in Pennsylvania by co-sponsoring this resolution.
