This bill authorizes the Department of General Services, with the Governor's approval, to grant and convey certain lands and buildings located in Danville Borough, Montour County, to the Borough of Danville for a nominal fee of $1. The property consists of three parcels totaling approximately 4.48 acres, which are part of the former Danville State Hospital grounds. The conveyance will be subject to various conditions, including that the property cannot be used as a licensed facility and must be utilized for municipal purposes such as fire department training, municipal buildings, and parks. If the Borough fails to adhere to these conditions, the title will revert to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Additionally, the bill stipulates that the conveyance will be executed via a quit claim deed, with all associated costs borne by the grantee. It also allows for the possibility of granting easements and includes provisions for alternative disposal of the property through competitive bidding if the conveyance is not completed within 24 months. Proceeds from the sale will be deposited into the General Fund. The act is set to take effect 60 days after its passage.
