The fund's balance will not revert to the General Fund at the end of the fiscal year, ensuring ongoing support for the program. The Department is also required to submit an annual report to the General Assembly detailing grant applications, awards, fund balances, and the impact of the funded educational campaigns. The act will take effect 60 days after its passage.
