This bill amends the Administrative Code of 1929 to establish a Prostate Health Public Education Campaign under the Department of Health. The campaign aims to raise public awareness about prostate health, including risk factors for prostate cancer, recommended screening timelines for different age groups, available screening tests, and the importance of early detection. The Department of Health is tasked with collecting and disseminating up-to-date scientific information on these topics through various outreach methods, such as public service announcements, community forums, and distribution of materials in multiple languages.

Additionally, the bill creates the Prostate Health Public Education Campaign Fund, which will be a separate fund in the State Treasury. This fund will be used to support the campaign's implementation and administration, with the Department of Health authorized to apply for grants and accept donations to enhance the fund. The act is set to take effect six months after its passage.
