A 14-year-old Upper Darby girl, accidentally shot and killed inside her home. A 7-year-old boy unintentionally killed while his brothers were playing with a gun that went off. A 3-year-old, shot in the head but miraculously survived, after playing with his teen uncle’s unsecured firearm. Every year, thousands of preventable tragedies like these happen when unsecured firearms are accessed by children, thieves and other unauthorized users.
