In an attempt to reduce their carbon footprint and lower costs for consumers, the aviation industry has begun to utilize Sustainable Aviation Fuel or SAF, which is an alternative fuel made from bio-based resources that reduces emissions from air transportation. Pennsylvania is fortunate to have these resources, as well as the ability to locate SAF facilities close to our airports.

I will be introducing legislation which will create a new tax credit for the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel.
