Acupuncture is a historic and traditional medicinal practice with roots in China. Today practitioners across Pennsylvania, including physicians, practice this unique medical form to bring relief to patients with a variety of conditions, including joint and lower back pain.

To celebrate the work of acupuncturists in our state, I plan to introduce a resolution designating October 24, 2026, as Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Day in Pennsylvania. October 24th has been recognized annually as Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Day since 2002, and Pennsylvania has the opportunity to join in this tradition.

Please join me in recognizing the work of acupuncturists across our Commonwealth.
