In the near future, I will be introducing school health services legislation requiring state funding for clinics known as School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs). This will be companion legislation to
HB1376 (2025) and
HB2597 (2024), introduced by Representative Tarik Khan. 23 states have pursued funding legislation related to SBHCs, which provide mental health counseling, preventative care, dietary counseling, and other health services throughout the Commonwealth. However, Pennsylvania does not adequately fund these critical health centers.

Please join me in cosponsoring this legislation.
