The 29 intermediate units (IUs) in Pennsylvania are vital to our educational system. They greatly support and enhance our school districts. And they face building challenges like any other school.
 
As you know, the Public School Facility Improvement Grant Program (PSFIG) provides grants to public school districts and area career and technical schools for facility improvement projects. Currently, IU’s are not eligible for those grants. They should be. This legislation will fix that.
