As America’s 250th birthday rapidly approaches this July 4th more and more families will be adding flags to their houses in celebration.  While the United States Flag is already exempt from sales tax, everything else that goes into hanging one properly is subject to the sales tax.  That is why I plan on introducing legislation to make Flag Poles, Brackets and other accessories exempt from Pennsylvania sales tax.
