As you are aware the National Government has been in a partial shutdown for over a month.  During this time Transportation Security Officers (TSO's) are not being paid.  

TSO's are responsible for screening passengers, baggage and cargo at over 400 airports across the nation.  They are working without a paycheck and many are calling off sick or taking leave, which is causing huge delays of up to 3 hours or more to get through security screenings.

I urge Congress to enact legislation that provides funding for TSO's during government shutdowns now and in the future.
