We will soon offer a resolution recognizing March 13, 2026, as "Registered Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Day" in Pennsylvania.

Registered nutrition and dietetics technicians are trained in food and nutrition and are an integral part of health care and food service management teams. They receive training and education in nutrition and diet therapy, medical nutrition therapy, food safety and sanitation, food management systems, and meal management and preparation.

The specialized education and experience registered nutrition and dietetics technicians offer have proven to be a valuable asset to the nutrition and dietetics profession. These professionals work throughout our communities in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, school, and restaurants.

We invite our colleagues to join us in recognizing March 13, 2026, as “Registered Nutrition and Dietetics Technician Day” in Pennsylvania to celebrate the contributions of nutrition and dietetics technicians and their commitment to promoting science-based nutrition for the health of tomorrow.
