On September 17, 2025, a tragic event left three officers of the Northern York County Regional Police Department dead when they were ambushed while performing a search warrant service in York County.

While all three officers were residents of York County and members of the Northern York County Regional Police Department, they were Pennsylvanians that represented an outstanding commitment to service and to community.
