In Pennsylvania we all give veterans help with their property taxes when they are disabled while serving out country.  I believe that we should extend the same benefit to our first responders who put themselves at risk protecting our communities. Therefore, I am planning on introducing a constitutional amendment to authorize the general assembly to reduce the property taxes of any first responder that are disabled due to their job.
 
I believe this amendment is a necessary first step to help those that are disabled protecting our communities and please ask that you join me in sponsoring this important constitutional amendment.
