In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation designating a portion of Route 405 in Delaware Township and Watsontown Borough as the PFC Richard F. “Ricky” Ritter Memorial Highway.

PFC Richard Frank Ritter was born Oct. 7, 1944, in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. PFC Ritter graduated from Warrior Run High School. PFC Ritter entered the Marines and was a part of Company A, First Engineering Battalion, Third Marine division. PFC Ritter received the Purple Heart posthumously. PFC Ritter was killed in action on March 15, 1967, near Da Nang Vietnam.

Please join me in honoring the service and sacrifice of PFC Richard F. “Ricky” Ritter.
