In the near future, I will be introducing a resolution recognizing March 1-7, 2026, as Invest in Veterans Week in Pennsylvania.

Many veterans of our armed forces return to civilian life and continue to give back to the communities they protected during their service. Reintegration into the community is crucial, and many veterans become entrepreneurs as a way to help in their efforts.

Small businesses, especially veteran-owned small businesses, are the backbone of our economy. In fact, Pennsylvania is ranked as one of the top states in the nation for veteran-owned small businesses, with thousands calling our Commonwealth home. Investing in veteran-owned businesses strengthens communities and local economies, and it is crucial that we recognize the importance of these businesses.

This resolution will officially recognize March 1-7, 2026, as Invest in Veterans Week, encouraging Pennsylvanians to support veteran-owned and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses in Pennsylvania.

Increasing the visibility of veteran-owned businesses is crucial. I hope you will join me in co-sponsoring this important resolution.
