In the near future, I will introduce a comprehensive package of legislation to strengthen, protect, and modernize Pennsylvania’s Election Code because every Pennsylvanian deserves to trust our election results and to know, without question, that their voice matters in our democracy.

Across several recent election cycles, we have watched attempts from both inside and outside our Commonwealth to undermine faith in free and fair elections. These pressures have only increased as deliberate misinformation, political interference, and threats against election workers have escalated.

At the same time, there have been major shifts in the private companies who provide voting equipment to our counties, the federal agency charged with securing our elections has been effectively dismantled, and billionaires are buying unprecedented political influence. Taken together, these pressures pose a real threat to the future of our democracy.

This package of bills includes targeted reforms designed to reduce vulnerabilities, combat misinformation, increase transparency, and to support the people who keep our elections running.
