Hit and Run accidents are devastating to victims, families, and communities. In order to continue efforts to raise awareness about road safety, I am pleased to introduce a resolution to recognize February 4, 2026, as National Hit and Run Prevention Day, and February 2026 will be recognized as National Hit and Run Prevention Month. This initiative aims to bring attention to the significant traffic safety issue of hit-and-run accidents, promote safe driving, and support victims and their families.
