I intend to introduce legislation that would improve access to voter registration for residents of the Commonwealth.

Pennsylvania hunters and anglers are important to our Commonwealth, yet over 30 percent of hunters in Pennsylvania aren’t registered to vote.

My legislation will give citizens the opportunity to register to vote when purchasing a hunting or fishing license at a government agency or office where licenses can be purchased. Because the documentation requirements for hunting and/or fishing licensure are similar to that for voter registration, providing this opportunity will improve government processes and create efficiencies for Pennsylvanians. Nothing in this legislation will afford non-citizens this privilege or require citizens to register.
