Born on September 19, 1985, in Hanover, he was a dedicated family man, husband to Jordan L. Becker, and father to their children, Canton and Wrynn. A graduate of Spring Grove Area High School, Becker excelled in athletics and continued his success at Millersville University, where he became an NCAA Division I East Regional Champion in wrestling. After graduating in 2008, he committed himself to public service with the Northern York County Regional Police Department.

Throughout his career, Detective Sergeant Becker demonstrated exceptional bravery, notably saving a family of four from a house fire in 2010, and received numerous commendations for his excellence in law enforcement.
