In the near future, I plan to introduce legislation designating a bridge in Jay Township, Elk County, as the Weedville World War II Memorial Bridge.

Both Pennsylvanians and the nation are indebted to the veterans of Jay Township (Weedville), Elk County for their service and sacrifice in World War II. Seventy-six Jay Township residents served in World War II. Giving recognition to the service men and women of Jay Township, Elk County is fitting to memorialize and honor those who bravely fought for and served their country during World War II.
