One Saturday each December, volunteers across the United States and abroad gather to lay holiday wreaths on the graves of those who have sworn to support and defend the United States Constitution. This year, over two million volunteers are expected to participate in Wreaths Across America Day at more than 5,200 participating locations across the nation and abroad. This tradition is especially sacred in Pennsylvania, which more than 614,000 veterans currently call home.

The theme for this year’s Wreaths Across America Day campaign is to Keep Moving Forward, a message that displays servicemen and women’s unwavering resilience. The evergreen branches of a veteran’s wreath represent longevity and endurance, and the forest scent represents purity and simplicity. A veteran’s wreath’s circular shape symbolizes eternity, and its hand-tied red bow symbolizes the great sacrifice that veterans make for us.

Wreaths Across America Day is about both symbols and action. As such, I will be introducing a resolution to designate December 13, 2025, as Wreaths Across America Day in December.

As the mission of the Wreaths Across America organization demands, this day is one to remember the fallen, honor those who serve, and teach the next generation the value of freedom. Please join me in sponsoring this resolution and amplifying this mission.
