Soon, I will be introducing a resolution to recognize November 3 through November 7, 2025 as “Standardbred Horse Sale Days” in Pennsylvania, highlighting the significance of the Standardbred Horse Sale held annually at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.

Established in 1939, this event hosted at the Farm Show Complex is the largest sale of its kind. It brings buyers from around the world, boosting Pennsylvania’s economy with millions of dollars through tourism and job creation. The sale generates over sixty million dollars each year, underscoring Pennsylvania’s position as a national and international leader in standardbred horse breeding.

By recognizing these days, we celebrate the event’s economic and cultural impact and Pennsylvania’s proud equine heritage. I invite you to join me as a cosponsor of this resolution to show the importance of the Standardbred Horse Sale to our Commonwealth. Thank you for your consideration.
