Sharon Cullen was a pillar of the Montgomery County community. Born on October 3, 1965, in Philadelphia, she devoted her professional career to public service in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office, the Montgomery County Commissioners’ Office, and finally serving as the Montgomery County Director of Parking Facilities and Fleet Management.

In her time working for the county, she met her husband, Sean. Together, they founded the Montgomery County Hero Fund. This charity honors the heroism of those Military Personnel, Law Enforcement, Firefighters, and First Responders, who are injured in the line of duty, by aiding them and their families. In doing so, 100% of all money the fund raises goes to families and service people in need.

Sadly, Sharon passed away prematurely at the age of 59 on July 29, 2025, after valiantly battling cancer. To celebrate the life and legacy of this selfless and kind person, I am introducing a resolution to designate October 3, 2025, as “Sharon Cullen Day” in Pennsylvania. Sharon dedicated her professional work and personal life to serving others. Please join me in co-sponsoring this resolution to commemorate and honor Sharon Cullen.
